The Weidhaases started their first company, IT&M, by servicing clamshell presses and quickly gained a reputation for their problem solving skills and later their high-tonnage clamshell presses and advanced foil pullers.

Today, the Weidhaas Group engineers and manufactures three different lines of clamshell presses, but we still focus on service and support, not only for our customers, but other clamshell models as well. We offer safety updates, parts, and labor for Thomsons, Kluges, Brausses, Standards, etc. Preco Industries selected Weidhaas as the official service and support provider for the Preco M3043, and we continue to maintain positive relationships with many Preco customers. The Weidhaases maintain their hands-on approach and enjoy working on clamshells. Rob and Bob Weidhaas are often found with a little grease on their hands as they troubleshoot older model Thomsons or offer companies suggestions for safety upgrades. Rob Weidhaas also actively contributes to committees, such as the NPES ANSI B65 subcommittee, to shape tomorrow's safety standards and keep abreast of changes that impact his customers.
